The month of March features the cute and fun Crosswalk Block!
To quickly make the Crosswalk block we need to make a few half-square triangle units. Then strip piece a couple strips to then cut segments to size. In the video I’ve shared a few of my best tips for cutting accurately from your strip sets.
In my quilt sample, I had fun making each Crosswalk block unique, with a different background and contrast fabric in each. The fabric requirements are small enough that you can easily use up leftover fat quarters from past projects.
The opportunities to make your blocks unique are many! We would love to see too – be sure to tag us on social media with @inspiringstitches and #inspiringstitches or #sewhometown
Do you need a new challenge for 2019? Sew with us! Sew Hometown is a great pattern for new and experienced quilters. We love the added challenge of using our scraps in a fun project. Learn more about Sew Hometown here.
